Adult Services

APNMI’s adult program was started in January 2004. The program was initially designed to provide job training for its members twice a week. Experience influenced the development of the program to meet the educational and social needs of the participants. Dance classes, sports activities, and social outings are a regular part of the program now. Classes are held five days a week concurrently with the children’s program.

The services provided by APNMI have been selected and developed by the parent members based on the child’s and family’s needs as the child grows and develops. The united efforts of the families have been a tremendously positive influence for better services for persons with disabilities in the Nuevo Casas Grandes area.
